Our ROOT Projects.  

We have many projects that we want to get done. We hope that the projects we are undertaking now and the ones we plan on will become something that the community use as a resource for activities.

Project 1. Up-Cycling Center

Terracycle is a striving company located in Trenton New, Jersey. This company takes in materials not normally considered "recyclable" and re-purposes them into new items to be used again. This extends the life of the original material to be re-used in a new form, thereby reducing the amount of trash we have in our landfills. We will be adding our own collection unit here at Kephra Farm, where we will be collecting certain items from the public for free. We are very  excited to offer this up-cycling center to our surrounding communities. We will be sending the collected waste to Terracycle, who then sends funds based on the amount of waste collected, towards a nonprofit of our choosing. We hope this upcycling center becomes a town hotspot and raises donations for other nonprofits who do great work but may not get enough of the recognition they deserve. We will be filing for our own non-profit status and at that time we will direct the funds collected towards our up-cycling center in an effort to expand upon what we can provide at this time. We would eventually like to also extend the reach of this group into a sanctuary/possible adoption center for wild mustangs, domestic livestock and pets. That however, would involve the purchase of land and we consider this to be our long term goal. One in which we are all very excited to reach!

Project 2. Native Edible Trail

This trail is something we look forward to building on our new site (that is once we have found the perfect place) We plan on having trails with the possibility of a yurt for outdoor gatherings and events. We will be planting edible native species along the trail with signs for easy identification. We would like to open this spot to groups for nature walks and educational discussions. Again this is a long term goal, or what we like to call root projects.

Project 3. Rental Cabins

We plan on building a few rental cabins, where we will have the space to use for events pertaining to the Society of Transformation Living. Again this is a long term plan as we are in the process of raising money to purchase land for an expansion and the addition of the projects listed.
